Will Translate for Foodby: Jameson Ramirez "This blog will briefly introduce who I am as a person and express my interest in serving the greater global community in matters of interpretation and translation." Dear Reader,While I feel it necessary to admit that I am but a neophyte to the wheelings adn dealings of the whole translation marketplace, my goal as a translator is to provide the best work and quality that I as a person can create. Having grown up in a cross-cultural environment and with parents of two different nationalities (American and Guatemalan), I know what it means to be understood in one's own language. Throughout my years at college I became even more acutely aware of the importance of building a bridge between languages so that once-polarized worldviews could come together through proper dialogue. While my services do serve a practical end (pay off the college loans!) I realize that they also serve to better the relationships of our greater community. Serving humbly and meekly, Jameson June 27, 2007 - Comments:0 |
